Privacy & how this works

What this app is

Conflict Resolution uses AI to help two people talk through a disagreement and suggest a way forward. It is not legal advice, therapy or counselling, and the AI cannot verify what either person says. Treat its verdict as an outside opinion, not a ruling.

What we collect

The topic, the names you type, and your answers (typed, or spoken and converted to text). No account, email or phone number is needed.

Voice

If you use the microphone, your browser's built-in speech recognition turns your voice into text. Depending on your browser (for example Chrome), the audio may be sent to that browser's speech service. We do not record or store audio. Only the text is sent to us.

Who sees your answers

The other person does not see your raw answers. Your answers are sent to an AI service (Anthropic's Claude) to write the questions and the verdict. The verdict, which summarises both sides, is shown to both of you.

How long we keep it

Sessions are stored so a session survives a page refresh, then deleted automatically a few hours after last activity. We do not use your answers to train AI models.

Safety

If something shared suggests abuse, threats or risk of harm, the app stops and shows support resources instead of a verdict. If anyone is in danger, call your local emergency number.

Consent

Both people must tick the consent box before taking part. Only share what you are comfortable with.
